It was once again nice to be surrounded by people who enjoys the outdoors with their kids, after this summer whe re we spent most of our time by ourselves in the woods, its just nice to share some moments with other families. My girl really enjoyed it, she got a bit worried when she seen it was not completely frozen but managed without too much help and it was nice to see her following all the older kids for a bit. I have no doubt that I will be back to enjoy Jura canyon in the near future! Thanks to my new friend Tanya at Family Adventures in the Canadian Rockies for the great pictures of us at the Canyon.
Once we reached the lower falls I didn't have to do too much begging to head to the Upper fall but I sure had to hear the disappointment in my girl once she found out we weren't ice climbing. I'm sorry little girl, you are going to have to wait a few more years.
To make an end to our weekend we decided to do something I had done a long long time ago. We parked on the side of the lake. And danced. We danced until we were so tired, we laughed we made silly moves and all that to absolutely no music other then the sounds of the waves of Abraham Lake crashing down below us. Now if you did see us, please, don't judge, if you or will have kids, please do me a favor. Have a dance party in the middle of nowhere, you wont regret it.
